This page explains exactly what happens to your email address when you join the Anivura waitlist. We collect as little as possible and we explain every piece of it, the same standard we hold the formula to.

Who we are

Anivura Labs LLC ("Anivura", "we") is the data controller for the waitlist. We are a Wyoming, USA limited liability company; the founder operates from Poland. You can reach us any time at contact@anivura.com for anything in this statement.

What we collect, and why

  • Your email address so we can send you the launch email when the KP Smoothing Spray ships.
  • Your consent the fact that you ticked the consent box, plus the date and time, so we have a record that you asked to hear from us.
  • Basic technical data standard information your browser sends (such as approximate location and device type) is processed by our email and store providers to deliver and secure the service.

We do not ask for your name, country, skin type, or any health information to join the waitlist. We do not collect special-category (sensitive) data.

How we use it

We use your email for one thing: to tell you when the first batch of 500 bottles is available, and a small number of closely related launch messages. We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone. We do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

The legal basis (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, our legal basis for emailing you is your consent, which you gave by ticking the box and submitting the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see "Your choices" below); withdrawing it does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.

Who processes your data for us

We use trusted service providers ("processors") who handle your email on our behalf and only under our instructions:

  • Klaviyo stores the waitlist and sends our email.
  • Shopify hosts this website.

Because we operate between the US and the EU, your data may be processed in the United States. Our providers rely on recognised safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) for those transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until launch and for a reasonable period afterward to manage the launch, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If the product does not launch, we delete the waitlist.

Your choices and rights

You are always in control:

  • Unsubscribe every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link (CAN-SPAM). You can also email us and we'll remove you.
  • Withdraw consent or delete your data email contact@anivura.com and we'll erase your address.
  • GDPR rights if you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you can request access to, correction of, or a copy of your data, and you can object to its use. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA) you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising a right.

We respond to any request within the timeframe the law requires.

Children

The waitlist is not directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this statement
